1. Overview
It’s the dedication of countless volunteers that make the ministry of TCF possible. Would you like to join the team? If you have a love for people and a heart of service, there is a place for you! From caring for infants in the nursery, to hospital visitation, to intercessory prayer, there is always a need for members of the body of Christ to serve each other and be filled in doing so.
2. Let’s get to know each other
If you are new to Trail Christian Fellowship, we request six months to get to know each other prior to volunteer service. During this time we would like you to familiarize yourself with our foundational documents, What is the Gospel, mission statement, and doctrine in order to understand our beliefs and approach to ministry, and ensure that God has indeed planted you at TCF. Church life is much more than Sunday service, so we encourage you to get to know the church family by participating in a midweek study or joining a home group. Get acquainted with the TCF leadership here.
3. What are your spiritual gifts?
Finally, we believe the Lord resources his church with spiritual “giftedness” (1 Corinthians 12-14). Practically, this means we would like to connect your gift(s) with the ministry needs we already have or leverage those gifts for ministry expansion. When this happens, we find volunteer ministry is done with joy, passion, excellence, and power. This in turn glorifies the Lord, builds His church, and expands the Kingdom.
If you have never identified your spiritual gifts, please print out and take this simple diagnostic test:
